Portals are discovered while investigating distant worlds of Cumbia, Soul, Afrobeat and Reggae inviting the listener to join them in their sonic explorations.

Songs were developed in remote festivals and community halls across British Columbia with Shaikh and Coe’s horn-wielding friends Andy Cakes and Harvey Paris.

You will even hear parts recorded live in psychedelic moments of revelry from gulf island communities and mountain towns infusing the album with a connection to the time in space of their home world
